We left right after I got done work around 10, 1030ish, and as a passenger, the 12 hour ride down wasn't that bad at all until the last hour. We stopped a few times, got pulled over in VA for being from NJ. Thank god the cop didn't get there a few moments earlier when I had a large buck knife out and I was shot gunning a coke, because I almost got shot by the cop. Rich started to laugh hysterically and got yelled at. We found Oasis rest stop, the best rest stop ever. It was like Rainforest Cafe The Rest Stop. Got a sweet lighter from there. Our next stop was around 6am at Cafe Risque. It's a truck stop that is also a strip bar 24-7. We went in and were the only people in there except for the tired topless southern belle who served us coffee and toast. Hilarious dildos and sex toys, awesome t shirts and hats too. Best coffee in dixie. As we left the sun was coming up and we hit up South of The Boarder, which is the most insane and depressingly weird place to ever go to. They have a million billboards, all of the lights are flashy and awesome, everything has lights turned on but nothing is ever open. Have you ever seen an arcade with tons of games on and ready to be played but the doors are always locked? Creep show, yo. We passed an abandoned motel and wrote the address to explore on the ride home. The sun came up and Rich singing along to George Michael gave us some needed energy boost. At one point Lou and I started to look at our hands and realize how tired we were haha. We made it to Savannah around 1030ish. Rich, as promised, tried to shot gun a coke outside of Sam and Don's place, but fucked up since he's a n00b and got coke all over his head. It was awesome to see Sam and even better to wash my hands face and brush my teeth. The entire ride down consisted of jelly beans, coke and me flipping my knife out every 3 minutes, true story. After we unloaded our stuff we drove to Don's work to say hi. Last time I saw him was a long time ago when he was up for a week. I only got to say hi at karaoke to him. It was awesome to see him and this weekend made me realize how much I miss everyone hanging out. Anyway, Don gave Rich and I two beach cruisers and we rode those back to the house. 15 minutes into our trip and I was in a t shirt riding a bike around sunny GA. We got back to the house and decided to ride bikes around the area that Lou is familiar with. We rode up and down the water front and it made me think that this is how everyone feels in cape may and wildwood when they come down for the summer. Got back to the house, went to the store with Sam to get stuff for Don's birthday cake, and the second we got back, Lou and RIch were passed out. I fell asleep right after they did. Power napped and waited for Don to get home. Went to get burrito's for his birthday at T Rex Mex. It was really cool place that was playing Gaslight Anthem when we got there, instantly felt welcomed. Got an awesome fish taco and met a bunch of Don's cool friends. We had a huge crew there, hanged seriously so hard. After that we went back to the house and had cake. Lou helped design it, it was a Life Aquatic/Time Volcano cake, and was fucking amazing. After that we tried to find fireworks, but everything was closed, so we took some firecrackers and tossed them out of the window as we drove around. We found a 35ft mountain of dirt, cement bits, and glass.

We stopped and as Lou was getting out of the car, I sprinted towards it and made it about a quarter way up. My feet started to sink in the dirt and I just couldn't get any higher. Lou, somehow defied laws of physics and made it to about 95% to the top. Don was a few feet behind him. I ran and made it to Don and he slingshotted me to Lou and he pushed me to the top. After that DOn and Lou made it up. After that we went home and passed the fuck out. Woke up at a decent time the next day, went and got smoothies then hit the flea market.

MOST AMAZING PLACE EVER.

I got two air soft guns for Rich and I (he stayed with his buds in Columbia that day), a switchblade for me and an eagle handle auto knife for Rich. Lou got socks and a copy of Mallrats on vhs. (we both forgot socks for the trip, so I opted not to wear any the whole time). Don got a huuuuuge patch of an eagle with an american flag that said Born in the USA, and a smaller one that said Field of Dreams with some weed leaves on it. So good. After that we went to Sam's friends house so Don and Lou could help her with a photo project, and then we got po'boys. I got a flounder po'boy with slaw and fries, and it was bangin. Went to the skate park after that and it was pretty fucking fun to skate in a t-shirt in the sun. Directly after that I got dropped off at Sam's and she drove me to where Don and Lou were playing bike polo. It looked super scary and intimidating, but I sucked it up and tried anyway. It was fucking addicting and so much fun, I even score a goal my second game. I don't remember the last time I felt so accomplished. We went home and got changed and headed out to get pizza. Don was allowing himself dairy for his birthday weekend for the first time in 7 years. We HOUSED 2 huge pizzas. I had 7 slices. I don't know how. After that Rich met back up with us, and we found an AWESOME karaoke bar. Had a huge crew again and everyone killed it on the mic. Lou and I did "PArty In The USA" even though the karaoke girl didn't have the words for it. It was so fun. We all went and climbed the 35ft rock mountain again and everyone made it to the top first try. We had 7 people standing on the tiny top and we were all howling at the full moon. We brought it in at the bottom with a group huddle and started to jump like a football team, so I started to sing the song from Remember The Titans. Rich and I stayed at this girls house because of more room to sleep, and we shot the shit out of her with the air soft guns. She ended up tazing me when I wasn't looking haha. Lou came and got us the next morning, and we got a hOw fuggin HoW southern breakfast. Biscuits and gravy with potatoes sucka. So good. 2 glasses of sweet tea also. All fueled up, we went to a monstrously large cemetery to walk around and look at cool gravestones. We walked to the boarder of it and it was a small cliff face with tons of rocks going straight down almost. Don, Lou and I decided to climb down it and back up, it was sketchy and awesome. After that we decided to all split up into 3 groups and walk around and find each other. Lou and Don, Sam and Kay(Don's cool buddy from bike polo), and Rich and I. We walked around, got some cool pics, ended up finding Don and Lou. We made it back to the car but Sam and Kay were nowhere to be found. We decided to go look for them again, but ended up just making a pentagram out of rocks in the road. Lou looked up spells to summon Creeper Demons, Witches, and a demon named BALTHAZAR (pretty much the fucking bad guy from Fantasia). Nothing was working, so he stood in the middle of the pentagram and cut his hand with a knife and dripped his blood on the rocks. I cannot explain to you how fucking hard we were all laughing. A car came and drove close to the pentagram and I'd be lying if we all didn't think the tires were going to explode as they drove over it haha. We found Sam and Kay and decided to head out. I can't remember if we did anything after that, I think we just drove home. Hopped in the shower, got dressed packed up the car and went to go have one final hang. We capped the trip with the best thing we could think of, milkshakes. They were awesome. Rich knocked over a 5 year old girl, while Lou and I both just knocked over "wet floor" signs. We walked around the downtown area and decided it was time to get going. We loaded up Lou's bike and had one more final huddle and sang more of Remember The Titans song. Don gave me his brass knuckles and I traded him my beer cozy for one of his. He also gave me a nice square of tree camo fabric and a cool bike polo patch. We got in the car put on some music and headed home. We stopped at South of the Boarder to see it all lit up, and yet still closed. We found that abandoned motel. Probably one of the creepiest places I have ever ran around. The full moon lit up a lot of the area, but it was rather terrifying running through the halls and into the center of it. Jumped back in the car and headed to Cafe Risque for food. Got there and found out at night there is an 8 dollar cover. Nah. Got Hardee's at a gas station. The drive wasn't bad, but 4-6 I was really feeling tired. We ended up pulling over around 6 to nap for 20 minutes and let the sun come up to wake us up. Made one more rest station stop and headed to Philadelphia. Looking at the city made me wish I could go to GA every other weekend, or at least have everyone hang out hard like we used to. Got back to my bed around 9, took a nice little nap. Work at 4 today. Can't wait to show Tina my new switchblade.

Easily one of the best weekends I've ever had. We were weekend warrior wolves and we took dixie by storm. I can't wait to go back and eat another po'boy.

A lot of strange feelings the past week or so. Getting over being sick, dealing with personal stuff, surrounding myself with distractions and good friends.

It started to snow today, so I guess I can start watching Elf every night until I puke from too much tv. I wish that could happen.

Yesterday was pretty amazing. Jordan picked up Rich and I, and we got #1, which was long over due, I'll fucking say. Went to Steve's house for the show, hung out with the guys. The show was amazing. It was packed with great dudes, great bands, best friends, good times, 10 burgers, 10 chicken sandwiches (the best gift ever, actually), and was just an all around amazing show. As always, it took forever to finally say goodbye and get back on the road to the city. Rich and I played a 45 minute game of skate outside his place. The weather was perfect, and by the end of the game after interacting with multiple "crazies", the rest of the Black Sails guys showed up. We all hung out and just shot shit til about 7:30 in the morning. It was the best sleepover I've ever been to. I was snugged against John, had my feet under Brett's back, and woke up around 9 shivering. I put on Ryan's jacket and texted Rich to see if I could just sleep in his bed with him, can't be scared. I fell asleep and we all woke up around 12. Heard and told great stories all night. Those dudes rule so much. Hands down, yesterday was just a great day. No worries, just pure fun.

I've been having an unexpectedly awesome time while I've been home. Skating with everyone is so much fun, even Seamus came out, it ruled. Played Wii with Megan Popper, ate pie, ate at Lou's place too. We went to Chris and Brian Evans new house. Holy shit, this place is going to be known as the fun ranch. Huge yard, tons of guns (which Lou was pointing at people haha), bows and arrows, bikes, paintball guns, a recording studio, basketball net, a small 100% aluminum bat for KILLING things (insanity), and Brian and Chris competing for our attention at the same time.
Brian - "Hey, watch me get a bullseye!"
Chris - "Hey, watch me do a cool spin move with the And 1 basketball!"
So much fun.
We also listened to live Eureka, and the vocal tracks from The Sheckies. It was "piss your pants" funny. All the while we all man'd up and flipped some sharp fucking knives too.

Anyway, I saw the new Sk8mafia video today. It was fucking sick. I have always liked the team, and Peter Smolik has always been a great skater. But for some reason, these guys get looked over a lot. The new video was mainly the am's, and it was awesome. The music was sick and the skating was a no gimmick just raw creative shit type of deal.

My favorite parts were Tyler Surrey, Jamie Palmore, and Wes Kramer. They were the ones that really got me pumped.

Palmore has been one of the guys to look out for since a bunch of random parts started

popping up on the internet. His ledge tricks are so awesome and he has a clean ass style.

and of course, Wes Kramer. I never like this dude.

Actually, I made it a point to say I didn't like him, just based on his interviews.

He kind of sounded like a douche. But after some new interviews and this part,

he is defiantly one of the stand out kids to me. I mean, Holy fucking gap to

nosegrind(in the opening line). And the song was fucking ill too. All in all,

this dude has great style, sick tricks, helluva pop and delivers with this part.

Kira and I drove to Cape May yesterday and went to the beach with Emma, Seamus, and Steph. Steph's family met us down there too. It was awesome, even though the water was kinda cold. I got the most gnarly sun burn ever. I felt sick to my stomach last night and had the shakes and shit. It wasn't fun haha. After the beach Kira and I met up with Emma in OCean City for some fries and banana whips. First one of the season, woo! Emma seriously drank the two hugest fucking lemonades I have ever seen, and a seagull almost shit on her. Nice. Quarter is almost done. I need to get cracking on my final portfolio/comparative religions paper/my philly fun guide group project/ website/ getting an internship/ if I don't get the campbells internship, get a job/ fudge.

Portfolio review went awesome, pumped.
Karaoke tonight didn't happen, bummed.
Nothing tonight happened, bummed.
My nights are usually very boring, probably my own fault.
I need more excitement in life, my own fault.
Drawing comics and watching movies doesn't cut it anymore.
If I were cool I would have shown my comics at the review
and tossed out my design stuff, if I were cool.
Simple things get me pumped, but it's hard to ride that feeling for long these days.
It used to be easy, but maybe that's life. I'm not sure yet.
I'll just let the life in me dry up soon so I can get on and be able to deal with dullness.
Until then I'm not sure what I'll pour the life I have into so it gets wasted faster.
Maybe a karaoke contest that really gets me nowhere in life,
or a made up yearbook of just me that makes me look insane.
I just wanna get it all out of my system sooner than later.

Not pumped. Just have a nervous feeling about it. I hear people just get torn up at these things. Spending all day finishing up stuff and making business cards, might even get my website if I have time. New computer this week. Pumped.

Karaoke last night ruled. Me, Kira, Emma and Donald all went and hung out. Got a big ass plate of nachos and did awesome karaoke tunes.

I started the night off with "when doves cry" by Prince & the Revolution.
Seriously, and this was a first-try-no-warm-up situation, I had a black lady in a small dress crawling on the floor towards me while I was singing. The karaoke guy and, who I am guess was, her boyfriend came and picked her up. It was awesome. Emma was laughing so fucking hard haha.
The next song was Biz Markie "Just a friend"

Emma and I fucking killed it. the crowd was all over it. The karaoke guy, though, hates me. Every single week he never calls me up for the end of the night contest, and he always turns down my mic. Whatever, I sing without the mic most of the time anyway. I do it for the fans at the B's, not for the contest anyway.
We ended the night off with Queen "Bohemian Rhapsody". It's a hit, and a damn fun one too.
Wish Paul, Mark, Allison, Wad and Marisa could have been there, but Emma, Donald and Kira were great too.
We walked back to my place and hung out for a little before I started to fall asleep, haha, so we settled in and ended up having an awesome night.

I saw the Arthur Russell documentary, Wild Combination. It was one of the way better doc's I've seen on someone. He was a really strange dude who made tons and tons of crazy music. It was a good watch and I recommend it to anyone.

I skated with Tim and Kyle this week too. My spring break was pretty good, despite some shitty weather. This skate day made up for the ass rain. Kyle and I went to the Art Museum and warmed up with some flat on the bike path. Once Tim got there we went and skated the fountain. It was awesome, hot, and mad fun yo. Filmed a 5-0 to fakie, shit ya brah! Did it a few different times to see if what one looked best. I liked the first one I did, but the film was kinda beat, and the last one I did, except I touched the wall. Oh well, whateva broseph.

Yeah, the last one was bitchin. Went past the wax marks, yeah, pumped on it!

Still listening to Sad Dads about everyday too. Band rules.
I made an hour long mix a few days ago. It was mostly 90's hip hop and r&b. I recorded the songs off of youtube onto a garageband track, so it was one long track and sounded like a shitty tape. I am really pumped on it.

Kira, Rus and I went to Emma's Dads funeral today down in Dennisville. It was nice and Emma was pumped to see us. I also had Rus cut my hair later.

We ended up cutting the rait tail off. I was kinda bummed. I really wanted one and was excited for it, but it just didn't work the way I thought it would in my head. I pictured one of those long swirling beauties you see on 7 year old red neck kids. My hair is just to thick and curly to really pull it off. So we cut it, but we left a lil extra on the back, it looks more like a turtle tail now.
Went to the mall and got sushi, saw Spencer at Verizon so Kira could get her new phone. Spencer is hilarious, we talked about a bunch of funny shit. Got back to the cit later and ended up walking to the park and sitting for a lil while. It was so nice out tonight, really a nice time in the park. After that got Lorenzo's with Paul and Allison. Caught up with them about their trip to Florida over the break. Ran into Marky Hickman on my walk back home, haha, totally random.

I am making a new comic for my friend. It's gonna be called "2 dads". It should be explosive, but I don't think you would disaprove. I don't think you would disaprove.

SO the other day had an amazing adventure with John Awad. He is a very talented young, reckless, beautiful male. We started our day with a burrito and stuffed jalapeno tacos. After that we went to his house. He showed me da banjo and he ripped it something fierce.

It rules. Awad shreds this thing to bits.

I kind of want one so bad.
Anyway,
We decided to go see Marisa. She had just gotten her wisdom teeth out, so we were planing on making her something.
In the car we realized we would use the chalk I brough and make a fantastic "get better" card made of wood.

Yeah, I know. It rules.

On the way home, after leaving this on Marisa's door step and driving away, we stopped at a EuroStore to look around. Nothing cool. EuroSuck. Anyway, next to it, I saw a store with one helluva incense holder. It had a naked broad on it riding a winged beast. So, naturally, we went in. We were looking all around until we found these gems.

The lady then told us about the "18 and older 'tobacco' product room". We complied almost immediatly. We had to go through a first back room filled with 1) gay pride t shirts and 2) about 5,000 t shirts with Osama Bin Ladins face with a cross hair on it. Amazing. The second back room was full of 1) the craziest dildos and sex toys I have ever seen, and 2) the dumbest bongs and crack pipes I have ever seen. We couldn't have had a better day.

That is their card. They need business they told us. Wow. So pumped.
After that I got whooped in Smash Bros at my friends house, then hung with Seamus and ate mad wings. All in all it was an amazing day. I hope I have more like it.

So we watched an insane amount of Tim & Eric. They are geniouses. We sat around all the next day in the time warp that was the apartment, but it as a lot of fun and we watched a lot of cool cartoon intros and daft punk videos on youtube. Donald came up with "Girlfriend Mom" which was probably one of the best things I have ever heard. You should be holding your breath until you see it. Donald and Grussel are making a blog with music and stories called "Fam Boy" and I am sure it will be amazing.

Finals week. Oof. To go into little detail, my two group projects are looking like a train wreck, my history of XX century art should be very hard (I think I can manage to cram in some studying the day before), and my information design project is actually coming along nicely.
The project is to "re-design" the Philadelphia Septa map. Seriously? In 4 weeks you want us to take a map that has been used for years that was created by some map making genius and try to improve the functionality of it? LOL. Well since improving the functionality of it is damn near impossible and dumb to even try, I decided to get try and make it more interesting. The examples that the teacher showed us all looked exactly the same. White background, colorful lines, modern fonts, fucking boring. Except for one. This kid Dan, who is a design wiz and a really cool dude. His was almost like a horizon line reading of the railways. Damn near impossble to read and follow, but the idea was awesome and the print looked good in book form.

I have been into old foreign design posters as of lately and they have kind of been running through my mind for months on end now. I have become extremely happy with the usage of cut paper and doing as little computer work as possible. It's more fulfilling to make something, scan it, and that is my project. I hate sitting and staring at illustrator all day making lines. Boring yo.

His stuff is amazing and he is one of the most creative people I have ever known and I owe a lot of my recent creative juices that are flowing in me to him, he's my mentor, aka, Master Dad.
